Experience the comfort of our fully equipped rental tents at our nature campsite! The tents, from the renowned "De Waard" brand, are well-known for their quality and storm resistance. The "Vergrote Zilvermeeuw" model, which accommodates 4 to 6 people, is equipped with all the conveniences you need.
Even outside the summer season, staying in a rental tent is a delightful experience at attractive rates. Additionally, you can enjoy our cozy dining area and library. A perfect combination of comfort, nature, and coziness!
Availability and reservations
Comfortable tents for families and groups
Our "Vergrote Zilvermeeuw" rental tents are perfect for families and groups of up to six people. The tent is furnished with four comfortable mattresses on a slatted base (please bring your own duvet/sleeping bag, duvet cover, and pillowcase). For a fifth and sixth person, inflatable sleeping mats are provided. The kitchenette is equipped with all the necessary cookware and a gas stove, and the dining area includes a table and chairs. A full inventory list can be found further below.
The tents are spread out across the site, allowing you to enjoy the peace and nature. Additionally, we offer great facilities, such as a cozy dining room and a library with a comfortable seating area, making your stay with us even more enjoyable!
Good to know!
Radiation-free stay: For the well-being of our community and our radiation-sensitive residents, participants, and guests, we ask everyone (residents, participants, and visitors) to switch all mobile phones, laptops, tablets, smartwatches, and other electronic devices to airplane mode or turn them off while on any of our grounds (Thietry, the goat farm, Forge Neuve, the teahouse, and the swimming lake).
In the guest rooms, rental accommodations, and the general information/library area, wired internet (Ethernet) is available for guests to use. Additionally, there is an internet access point in the parking area with a login code for those who need to use their phone, laptop, or tablet intentionally at certain times.

Biodegradable products: To protect our natural water treatment system, we kindly ask that you use only biodegradable personal care products (such as toothpaste, shampoo, dish soap, and sunscreen).
Smoke-free grounds:All our grounds (Thietry, Forge Neuve, and the goat farm) are smoke-free, including e-cigarettes. Smoking is only permitted outside the grounds.
Children’s festival: One week in August, our grounds host the Children’s Festival ("het Eigentijds Kinderfestival"). During this week, there will be a lively, festive atmosphere, which means the usual peace and quiet may be less prominent. For exact dates, please check the Children’s Festival website.
Dogs: Calm dogs are welcome at Ecolonie. However, we kindly ask you to respect a few rules: dogs must always be kept on a leash on the premises and walked outside the grounds. During mealtimes, dogs are not allowed in the dining room. Are you staying in a guest room? Then you will need to bring your own mat or crate for your dog.

Availability and rental periods
The tents are rented per week (from Friday to Friday). After consultation it is possible outside this period to rent a tent for a shorter period e.g. a long weekend. On the day of arrival, the tent is ready for you from 16.00 hours. On the day of departure, the tent is to be vacated by 10.30.

Delicious organic meals
We offer delicious vegetarian organic meals every day. We cook with as many fresh vegetables from our own garden as possible. Good to know: in some cases, we can accommodate dietary preferences.
If you don't book full board, you still have the option to sign up for the (other) meals. You can do this on-site, daily before 10:30 AM.

We have a water purifying system (sand filters). To protect our natural water treatment system, we kindly ask that you use only biodegradable (personal care) products, such as toothpaste, shampoo, dish soap, and sunscreen. In our shop (La Vie Verte) we have a great collection of (homemade) biodegradable products.
